JURUPA VALLEY, CA, July 5, 2025 – Two people were killed and several others injured in a suspected DUI crash early Saturday morning, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies responded around 2:50 a.m. to reports of a traffic collision in the eastbound lanes of Limonite Avenue, just west of Beach Street. Upon arrival, they found two vehicles with significant damage blocking the roadway.One of the vehicles, a van, had several unrestrained passengers at the time of the collision. Two of those passengers suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles, along with additional van passengers, were transported to local hospitals with various injuries. Authorities suspect impairment may have been a factor in the crash. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Jurupa Valley Station is conducting the investigation.
