East Harris County, TX, July 20 2025 — A late-night pool party turned deadly when gunfire erupted at an apartment complex on the 15300 block of Liberty River Drive, leaving one teenager dead and two others injured. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred during a gathering of approximately 25 to 30 teenagers, ages 15 to 17, at the complex. Authorities say the party was unsupervised, and for reasons still under investigation, multiple suspects opened fire on the crowd. A 15- to 16-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene. A 15-year-old female was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance and later transported by Life Flight to another facility for further treatment. Another 15-year-old male was also taken to the hospital and is reportedly still undergoing surgery. Their conditions have not been disclosed. Investigators say it’s still too early to confirm whether any weapons were recovered at the scene, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
