Houston, TX, July 29, 2025, A man in his 20s was killed late Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Westheimer Road in west Houston. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on July 29, 2025, near the 6400 block of Westheimer Rd. According to police, the man was not in a crosswalk when he attempted to cross the busy roadway. A Nissan sedan traveling eastbound struck the pedestrian. First responders arrived quickly, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Authorities say no charges are expected at this time.
