The incident occurred around 8:55 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Passons Boulevard. Deputies responded to reports of shots being fired and discovered the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Emergency personnel transported him to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The suspect remains at large. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect flee northbound on Passons Boulevard and reportedly get into a red 4Runner before leaving the scene.
