A teenager was shot and killed near a retention pond in West Harris County on Thursday night, March 6, 2025.
HCSO) deputies responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 9:00 p.m. near Sandy Bay Lane and Stockfield Lane. Upon arrival, officers found a male juvenile, believed to be of high school age, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
According to initial reports, two large groups of males met at the location for unknown reasons. During the encounter, one individual pulled out a gun and opened fire, striking the victim before all individuals fled the scene.
