Houston, TX, May 18, 2025 — Houston Police Department (HPD) and Houston Fire Department (HFD) responded to a shooting reported near the intersection of W Fuqua and Chimney Rock at approximately 9:30 p.m.Officers arrived to find a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby trauma center but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Investigators learned the shooting stemmed from an argument involving a group of three individuals — two males and one female — and the deceased. During the altercation, one of the males produced a firearm and shot the victim before all three suspects fled the scene on foot.HPD is actively seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspects.
