Glendale, CA, July 12, 2025 — A high-speed pursuit involving a stolen Dodge Charger came to a dramatic end early Friday morning after California Highway Patrol (CHP) executed a PIT maneuver, causing the vehicle to crash into a pole and wall near the Imperial Highway off-ramp of the southbound 110 Freeway. The pursuit began shortly after 1:15 a.m. on July 12, 2025, when LAPD officers attempted to stop the stolen vehicle in South Los Angeles. The driver fled onto the northbound 110 Freeway toward Downtown Los Angeles. Once the chase transitioned onto the southbound side of the freeway in DTLA, CHP units took over. The suspects continued south on the 110, merged onto the 91 Freeway into Compton, and then doubled back onto the 110 Freeway northbound toward Downtown LA again before reversing course once more.
