June 20, 2025 – Rancho Cucamonga, CA – A motorcyclist was killed in a high-speed pursuit that ended in a fiery crash on the westbound 210 Freeway late Friday night, authorities confirmed. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when an unidentified law enforcement agency was pursuing a motorcycle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway near the 15 Freeway interchange. During the pursuit, the rider lost control and crashed into the center divider, causing the motorcycle to ignite upon impact. The motorcyclist was thrown into a nearby ravine and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding firefighters. Crews quickly extinguished the flames from the burning motorcycle . According to reports, the motorcyclist reached speeds of up to 125 miles per hour during the chase. The reason for the pursuit and the agency involved have not been publicly disclosed. Multiple lanes, including the HOV and number 1 lanes on both sides of the freeway, were shut down as investigators worked the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
