Bakersfield, CA (January 3, 2025) – Eddy Miguel Castellanos, 74, of Weldon, lost his life in a two-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning in North Edwards. The collision occurred around 5:36 a.m. on eastbound Highway 58 near Clay Mine Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Castellanos was driving one of the vehicles involved in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances leading to the collision remain unclear. It is not yet known if anyone else sustained injuries in the incident.
